Bobby D. Gerardo
is a Professor of Information Technology and Mathematics at West Visayas State University, La Paz, Iloilo City. He finished his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Western Institute of Technology in 1994 and M.A. Ed Mathematics from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines in 2000. Currently (2004), he is a candidate in the Ph.D. in Engineering with specialization on Distributed Systems at the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Kunsan National University, South Korea.

He is a member of reputable organizations like Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE), Mathematics Society, Philippine Statistical Association and Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines. He had published several research papers on Mathematics, IT, Computer Science and Engineering in domestic and international conferences and publications.

Because of his interests and concern to the environment he develop another website, http://kabulig.tripod.com, to help other persons especially the poor, under privileged and oppressed. His great concern and love of  the environment and experience as community volunteer have motivated him to extend hands with respect to community development. Among his goals include environment cleanliness and preservation, protection of wildlife, forestation, community development, and humanitarian campaign of local, national and international interests.
